India received the title of 'Guest of Honour' in the Guadaljara International Book Fair
India has become the first Asian country to become “Guest of Honor Country” in the 33rd edition of Guadaljara International Book Fair, Mexico. This is the biggest book fair of the Spanish-speaking world. It is also known as Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadaljara in Spanish. The book fair will end on 8th December. It was inaugurated by Sanjay Dhotre, Union Minister of State (MoS) for Human Resource Development (HRD). The National Book Trust (NBT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Government of India (GoI), is participating as the nodal agency of the GoI in this book fair.
